Success is the deliverable.

In the agentic era, implementation is abundant. Judgment is scarce.

01The premise

The premise

Writing code is no longer the hard part. A small senior group with AI agents now ships in weeks what took a team a quarter.

What hasn't got cheaper is deciding what to build, and proving it worked. That judgment is what we sell.

02The failure mode

Projects fail because success was never defined.

Most companies don't have an execution problem. They have a definition problem.

  1. Features nobody uses.

  2. Processes automated that should never have existed.

  3. MVPs shipped with no plan for the day after launch.

  4. Velocity measured. Value never.

None of these failed in the build. They failed before it, when nobody wrote down what success would look like.

03Why not in-house

Why this hasn't been solved in-house.

Your team is running the business. Defining a result, building the shortest path to it and measuring whether it arrived is a different discipline, and the AI delivery muscle behind it isn't in most buildings yet.

A first attempt that fails poisons the appetite for a second. That is why someone outside has to carry the accountability, not just the hours.

04What you buy

What you actually buy.

An Outcome Contract. It is the first thing we produce, and everything after it is built and priced against it.

The structure of an Outcome Contract
Outcome LabOutcome Contract · Defined before buildRef. OC–0000
01The result
One sentence, in your words. Not a feature list.
02How it is measured
The metric, its baseline, the target, and the date it is read.
03What is in, what is out
The scope the result needs, and the scope it doesn't.
04The price
One fixed figure. It doesn't move with hours, headcount or change requests.
05If we miss
How we diagnose, how we correct, and that it is at our cost if the definition was wrong.

If the honest conclusion is that it shouldn't be built, that conclusion is the deliverable.

05How it runs

How the engagement runs.

  1. Weeks 1–2

    Define the result

We agree the business problem and how success is measured, and write the Outcome Contract. If it shouldn't be built, we say so.

  2. Week 2 onwards

    Deliver

A small senior squad with AI agents builds the shortest path to the result. Working software every week, not decks.

  3. Until the result

    Validate and improve

We measure whether the result arrived. If not, we keep going. When it has, the knowledge stays with you.

  4. Optional · Monthly

    Ongoing partnership

For a roadmap of results rather than one. No lock-in.

06Commercial model

Outcomes. Not Hours.

What you pay for

One fixed price against one defined result.

Agreed before anything is built. It does not move.

What we never charge for

  • Hours worked
  • Team size
  • Change requests
  • Meetings about meetings

Our incentive is to finish. Yours is to get the result. Same incentive.

07When we miss

What happens when we miss.

Most firms would never put this on a page. That is why it is here.

  1. Diagnose openly

We find out why, together. No hiding behind scope documents.

  2. Correct at our cost

We propose the corrective path and execute it. On us.

  3. Own the definition

If the result was defined wrong, that is ours.

The Outcome Contract is a commitment, not a disclaimer.

08Who we are

09Not for everyone

Who this is not for.

  • If hours are what you want, we're not a fit.

  • If the deliverable you want is a deck, other firms do that well.

  • If success can't be defined, we won't start.

  • If you need a team to absorb a backlog, hire one.

If a business result is what you need, keep going.

10Start

Start with an Outcome Contract.

The first step is bounded: one to two weeks, one written definition of success, one fixed price for delivering it. Tell us the problem and we will tell you plainly whether it is worth defining.

Read by both founders.

A few sentences is enough. What result would make this worth doing?
